The Challenge
Team Rankine had an existing website that was outdated and no longer reflected who they were as a brand. The design felt disconnected from their current identity and lacked the functionality needed to support their evolving goals. They needed a fresh layout that could better showcase their values, services, and community presence while offering a more engaging experience for their visitors. One of the key features they wanted was a way for users to easily view and stay updated on upcoming events, which play a central role in their outreach and also to integrate their old booking engine to the new website.
The Strategy
We will start by aligning with Team Rankine on layout and structure, ensuring that every design element is reviewed and approved before development begins. This collaborative planning phase will help us avoid unnecessary revisions and keep the project focused and efficient.
To maintain momentum and transparency, we will provide consistent progress updates throughout the build. These check-ins will allow the client to track milestones, offer feedback, and feel confident that the project is moving forward on schedule.
For long-term content management, we will create custom post types tailored to their needs which are: blogs, team biography, gallery, etc. We will also integrate a calendar to help manage their events. Each will come with a pre-built template designed for ease of use, allowing Team Rankine to update and expand their content independently.

We built the Team Rankine website on WordPress, giving it a refreshed layout that better reflected their brand and improved user experience. A dynamic calendar was then added to showcase upcoming events, making it easier for visitors to stay informed and engaged. To maintain continuity, we also integrated their existing booking engine into the new site, ensuring a seamless transition and preserving familiar functionality. The final result was a clean, intuitive platform that supports ongoing updates and empowers the team to manage their content with ease.
