The Challenge

Multiquip UK wants to have a proactive approach that will spear their marketing forward compared to their previous agency. They already have an account with us for nearly two years that is working greatly. With an already established set of campaigns we need to elevate their performance by refining what’s already working and unlocking new growth opportunities.

Their website is also outdated which makes GTM tracking hard so we have to find an alternative if we want to see the account performance.


The Strategy

On Google Ads side, we looked further into refining our own campaigns to capitalise on their already set algorithm and set it up that will maximise target ROAS instead of clicks to ensure that when there is a demand, we are right on it.:

  • Disabling ineffective campaign settings to remove friction.
  • Introducing new parameters that target specific age ranges with higher conversion potential.
  • Refreshing text assets based on historical performance.
  • Increasing budget allocation to capitalise on the refined setup.

Closely monitoring performance to ensure changes create account improvements and quickly course-correct if needed.

The Execution

We applied these changes:

  • Testing campaigns and culling them when they do not perform.
  • Age-specific targeting to focus on audiences with genuine purchase intent.
  • A refreshed set of ad assets informed by past performance data.
  • Product updates to not advertise the items that are not in stock.

By April and May, the results were clear: the tuning efforts from February and March led to exponential growth in sales. With a £600/month budget, we built a long-term strategy that ensures ads reach the right users at the right time and maximises every opportunity.

What's Next

We have talked and planned with the client that we would create new ad campaigns for their newly built product line. These are details regarding that plan:

  • Dedicated search campaigns tailored to the new brand.
  • A/B testing to identify asset and keyword combinations.
  • Awareness campaigns via PMax to build digital presence and reach.

With those mentioned, we have increased the duties we have on this account by maintaining their main website and their new product line. We will closely monitor the performance of the existing campaigns and look for opportunities in the new one.
