The Challenge

Mighty Sesame Co. asked us to boost their digital performance in a crowded niche. The goals included driving more clicks and traffic, improving conversions, and expanding keyword reach. They wanted more terms on page one, stronger average positions, and better visibility for their tahini products.


The Strategy

We built a strategy combining smart keyword targeting and technical improvements. Extensive research helped us identify both primary and alternative keywords to capture broader demand. We re-optimised existing pages, created new informational content to build topical authority, and funnelled users toward product pages. Alongside this, we addressed technical SEO issues, developed a backlinking plan, and ran competitor research to find gaps in the market.

The Execution

Execution focused on relevance and authority. We created content around tahini products, including evergreen guides and recipe pages that linked directly to product listings. Product pages were fully optimised for search and user intent, high-quality backlinks were secured to improve domain authority, and competitor analysis insights leveraged to inform our keyword targeting and content structure strategies. Technical issues were also resolved as they were found in order to strengthen site health, ensuring smoother indexing and better ranking potential.

In short, every piece of work was aimed at moving users closer to conversion while steadily increasing search visibility.

The Results

Mighty Sesame Co.’s main goals for the project were to earn more traffic and more conversions, alongside more clicks when they appeared in search results, and more search visibility. Did we deliver the results they were looking for? We’ll let the data tell the story…

Goal 1: More traffic and more conversions

The screenshot below shows that we’ve met both parts of this target, because:

  • Core traffic metrics have all improved.
  • ‘Total Users’ by 92%
  • ‘New Users’ by 93%
  • ‘Returning Users’ by 84%
  • ‘Key Events’ (formerly known as ‘Conversions’) are up 411%!

Goal 2: More clicks

We can again quickly deal with ‘whether or not we achieved the objective’ by using the screenshot below to confirm that:

  • Over the last three months (approx. June – September 2025), Mighty Sesame earned nearly 6,000 more clicks than they did during the same period of time 2024. That’s a 390% increase, so goal achieved!

However, there are even more positives to take from this data as well. Specifically that:

  • Over the same period, the site earned just over a million search impressions, which is a 1066% increase on previous levels.

Again, during that same time frame, the average Mighty Sesame page climbed from 25th in the rankings to 7th – so we’re averaging page one right now!

Goal 3: More search visibility

To show our success here, let’s look at the two screenshots below. Using them, you can see that at project start Mighty Sesame had:

  • 812 keywords ranking in total
  • 48 of those keywords were on page one.

Contrast that with now, when the client has

  • 2579 keywords ranking in total (a 218% increase)
  • 488 keywords ranking on page one (a 917% increase)

What's Next

The campaign is ongoing, with continued efforts on keyword research, content refreshes, and technical fixes. We’ll keep building authority through backlinks and competitor analysis, while expanding topical coverage with new content opportunities. The collaboration between Mighty Sesame Co. and Seek Marketing Partners is off to a solid start, and our aim is to continue to push the brand toward stronger rankings, higher visibility, and increased conversions.
