Martins Tyres partnered with us to improve their online presence and grow conversions through organic search. Their goals included increasing total clicks, driving more bookings, and expanding keyword coverage — both in terms of overall rankings and page one positions.
The challenges were clear at project start. The site had low domain authority, making it difficult to compete with established rivals in the automotive niche. On top of that, the content that was already present on the site was not optimised for SEO, meaning opportunities to rank were being missed.
Our plan combined content, technical work, and authority building. We began with extensive keyword research to identify opportunities that matched real user intent. Existing content and pages were re-optimised for stronger keyword alignment, while new content was planned to funnel users toward service pages and build topical authority.
Local SEO tactics were also applied to help Martins Tyres capture relevant searches in their immediate area and nearby locations. At the same time, we worked on developing a high-quality backlink profile to improve domain authority, carried out competitor research to stay ahead of the market, and addressed technical SEO issues that were holding back performance.
Per the plan, we rolled out a content strategy that balanced informational and commercial intent, with pages designed to answer user questions and direct them toward tyre services. High-quality backlinks were created to strengthen domain authority, while competitor research informed our keyword targeting and content focus.
Technical SEO fixes were implemented to improve site health and search visibility. Local SEO tactics also played a major role, ensuring Martins Tyres gained visibility in local searches and reached potential customers in their service areas.

Goal 2: Increasing clicks
A short and sweet one here. The screenshot below clearly shows that during the three months spanning June 22 – September 21 2025, Martins Tyres earned 1.17K more clicks than they did between the same dates in 2024. That represents a 63% improvement.

Goal 3: Earning more SEO Rankings overall, and more page one rankings
To verify success here, we’ll be using the two screenshots below. One is a snapshot of Martins Tyres’ keyword rankings at project start, and the other is that same snapshot taken at the time this case study was produced. Comparing the two, we see that again we’ve definitely succeeded against the goal set, because:
Likewise, at project start, the client had 404 total keywords ranking. Now, they have 1,016, which is an increase of 151%.


Goal 4: Improving the site’s Domain Authority
Lastly, Martins Tyres wanted us to improve their domain authority too, and as the screenshots below demonstrate, we did just that, taking their DA from a starting value of 8 up to 13 over the course of the project so far.

The campaign is ongoing, with the focus shifting to continuous optimisation, but we’ll definitely be looking to carry on delivering the kind of results that we’ve seen so far. We’ll continue refining local SEO, refreshing and reoptimising underperforming pages, and fixing any technical issues as they arise. Competitor research will remain central — helping us find untapped keywords and new opportunities.
