Gerda Security Products came to us with a clear set of objectives: increase traffic to their website, drive conversions, and generate more leads through organic search. They also wanted stronger keyword visibility, particularly getting more of their terms onto page one, and improved ranking positions overall. At the same time, they needed to boost engagement metrics like average session time.
There were a few restrictions and hurdles we had to navigate however. We couldn’t touch the main services and product pages, so our approach leaned heavily on blog creation. Fire safety is a sensitive subject too, which meant content had to be meticulously researched, accurate, and free of ambiguity. Many of their products also included technical terminology specific to the fire safety industry, so we had to balance clarity with authority. Finally, one last technical consideration was that the website had duplication issues – live HTTP pages that weren’t redirecting – which was holding back performance.
To tackle these challenges, we built a plan rooted in research and technical precision. We started with extensive keyword research to find opportunities that would drive qualified traffic. From there, we created new blogs and landing pages targeting those terms while reoptimising existing content for better relevance.
On the technical side, we addressed key SEO issues affecting indexation and visibility, while also building a stronger backlink profile to improve domain authority. Every part of the strategy was designed to increase the site’s search visibility, engagement, and lead generation potential – all without touching the restricted service pages.
We rolled out a steady programme of high-quality content creation, ensuring every blog and page was well researched, clear, and compliant with industry sensitivity around fire and safety topics. Backlinks were also carefully sourced and vetted to meet strict quality and relevance standards.
Alongside this, we resolved the duplication issues and made sure all new pages were fully mobile-friendly and search-friendly. Technical improvements were implemented methodically, ensuring the site performed better not just for search engines, but for the users interacting with it.
