ExpHand came to us with a clear set of priorities: drive more traffic to their site, boost user engagement, and strengthen their visibility in search results. For a healthcare brand, that meant not just climbing the rankings, but doing so responsibly. The aim was to increase the number of keywords they ranked for, secure more page one positions, and improve their overall keyword performance.
The challenge lay in balancing growth with accuracy. Healthcare is a sensitive niche, so rewriting content wasn’t as simple as chasing keywords. Every update had to maintain trust, clarity, and compliance, while still moving the needle on SEO.
We began by digging into ExpHand’s site with a full audit, uncovering what was working, what wasn’t, and where competitors were pulling ahead. From there, our plan focused on two fronts: rebuilding the foundations and driving new growth.
We rewrote existing pages with a sharper SEO lens, keeping the healthcare context accurate and trustworthy. Alongside this, we planned fresh blog content to capture new search intent and build topical authority. On the technical side, we tackled site issues holding performance back, while also setting up a high-quality backlink campaign to strengthen domain authority.
Finally, we addressed what was dragging them down: harmful backlinks. After thorough competitor and link research, we created a disavow file to cut ties with toxic domains and give ExpHand a cleaner profile to build from.
With the strategy in place, we moved quickly into action. Our content team produced new informational pieces designed to boost ExpHand’s topical authority in the healthcare space. Every article was backed by thorough keyword research, making sure we targeted terms with real search potential.
We rewrote on-site copy to strike the right balance between clarity for users and optimisation for search engines. At the same time, we listed the site in trusted directories to strengthen visibility and credibility.
On the technical side, we used our specialist tools to uncover issues that were holding performance back, then worked directly with the development team to get them fixed. Beyond the site itself, we rolled out off-site content marketing initiatives aimed at driving referral traffic and building brand presence across relevant channels.
In just two months, ExpHand’s visibility improved dramatically. Total keywords jumped from 56 to 116 (a 107% increase), while page one rankings grew from 2 to 13 – a 550% uplift. We also secured SERP features and pushed multiple keywords into the top three positions, giving ExpHand far greater prominence against competitors.


Total users rose from 113 to 177 – a 56% increase. New users followed the same upward trend, climbing 58%, while returning users also grew by nearly 60%. Event counts jumped from 1,415 to 2,515, marking a 78% lift in overall on-site activity. Although average engagement time and sessions per user dipped slightly, the sharp rise in both traffic and actions highlighted the campaign’s success in attracting more of the right audience to ExpHand’s site.

The keyword growth graph underlines the impact of our SEO efforts. From February to May 2023, ExpHand’s organic keywords and traffic climbed steadily, showing a clear upward trajectory and strong momentum for future growth.

These results mark an important step forward for ExpHand. Significant gains in keyword rankings, user growth, and on-site activity demonstrate that the SEO strategy is working and delivering measurable impact. With stronger visibility established and momentum building, ExpHand is well-placed to keep growing its presence and reach even more of the right audience in the months ahead.
