The Challenge

Dorot Gardens initially came to us in early 2024, wanting to increase traffic to their website and, alongside that, increase the number of conversions they were earning from that traffic. This was the challenge that they set for us, but in order to make good on that goal internally, we knew that we’d also need to improve things like keyword ranking positions, website responsiveness, and more.


The Strategy

Our strategy for this project would start as many SMP projects do, with a thorough evaluation of the existing site and content, as it was’. We’d be checking things like site performance, looking to see if any prior SEO work had been done (and if so, how well), assessing site structure, content and metadata quality, and so on.

This evaluation would then give us a list of technical and content-related fixes that we could work through. We’d also be performing our own competitor and keyword research tasks, to make sure that as we worked through updating the site and its content, we were doing so in ways that primed the new version of each page to earn a better search engine ranking than the version it replaced.

The Execution

Dorot Gardens needed a website that reflected their fresh, convenient brand while also delivering stronger visibility in search. We rebuilt navigation, improved recipe page usability across devices, corrected and reformatted copy, refreshed visuals with SEO-optimised images, and rolled out over 60 new content assets.

Alongside this, we carried out in-depth keyword research, producing optimised long-form content by rewriting existing pages and creating new ones. These changes not only sharpened the site’s design and improved user experience but also delivered a significant uplift in search performance. Dorot Gardens now benefits from a more consistent brand presence, a smoother user journey, and a site that is both engaging for visitors and far better positioned in search.

The Results

Dorot Gardens’ overarching aims for this project were to earn more traffic and to earn more conversions / key events. As you can see below, we definitely delivered on those key metrics:

  • ‘Total Users’ and ‘New Users’ have both increased by over 90% in the 19 months that we’ve been working together.
  • Returning traffic has more than doubled over the same time period, being up 121%.
  • Likewise ‘Key Events’ (formerly / also known as ‘Conversions’) are up over 75%.

We’ve already mentioned that in order to achieve Dorot Gardens’ goals we felt we would need to improve SEO performance, and we’re proud to say that again, the screenshots below indicate that we succeeded in our efforts there. Comparing ranking position data for February 2024 and July 2025 we can see that we now have:

  • Over five times the number of keywords ranking somewhere in the top 100 places.
  • More than double the amount of top-3 rankings.
  • 359 more keywords ranking on page one of the search results than we had at project start.

Now, looking at how those rankings affect wider search performance, we can see that:

  • ‘Impressions’ (the number of times a Dorot Gardens page is shown in search results) have increased from 154,000 to 1,290,000 – a 737% increase!
  • ‘Clicks’ (the number of times a Dorot Gardens page shown in search results was clicked by the person running the search) have increased from 3,740 to 12,200 – a 226% increase.
  • And finally that the average ranking position for a Dorot Gardens page has improved from 17th in the rankings to 8th.
  • This is even more important since it means that the average Dorot Gardens page has gone from ranking on page 2 of the results, to being on page 1.

What's Next

The relationship between Seek Marketing Partners and Dorot Gardens has definitely been a productive one so far, and as it continues into the future we now look more at providing a regular amount of support for the website each month, writing new and updated content, ongoing keyword research to spot any new SEO opportunities that come along, dealing with any technical SEO issues that may arise promptly, and so on.
